Contact Pro Tracking Collar Contact-Pro is produced by Reperto AB of Sweden in partnership with Televilt AB who have been a world leader in wildlife and hunting dog tracking for more than 30 years. The system has a huge user base in Europe with more than 30 authorised dealers. The Tracking System Contact Pro was developed with the serious hunter in mind focussing on ease of use, durability and practicality.The receiver is arguably the smallest and lightest on the market, measuring only 201 x 25 x 301 mm with the antenna fully extended! It weighs only 280 grams. This is the receiver that you will definitely take with you no matter how tough the terrain. It comes with its own cordura nylon belt holster to ensure you have it with you at all times. The system has 200 channels, allowing you to run with as few or many dogs you want. As you or your mates needs change you simply add collars, no need to replace the receiver with a larger model. Contact Pro most importantly sorted out the key difficulty hunters have when trying to locate dogs that are relatively close, is the dog in front of me or behind me? The ease of directional location makes it very clear where the strongest signal is coming from…every time. The receiver has an inbuilt frequency adjuster, to allow the user to check that the collar transmitter has not changed frequency due to temperature variations. It also comes equipped with a jack to allow the use of headphones.
The Tracking Collars The tracking collars are constructed of high tensile strength ABS, designed for use in the toughest of conditions and are fully waterproof. They only require small antenna, so therefore are not prone to snagging on fences and scrub. Motion sensor Transmitter collars come standard with an inbuilt motion sensor, designed to assist hunters who track their dogs as they are hunting. When the dog is running the number of pulses from the collar increases. When the dog stops, the collars resume their normal pulse rate. Now it is simple to tell if your dog is in trouble or actively hunting! Batteries The transmitter collars use a single 3.6 volt AA lithium battery, giving approximately 400 hours use before replacement. Receivers use standard AA batteries. Bark indicator is also available as an optional extra. Warranty: 2 Year manufacturers warranty on all electronics.
